Project brief: To design and install a multi-room AV solution with integrated scene lighting on 60+ circuits. Central control of Sky+, Local iPod docks, Touch screens and cabling for future expansion.

Client: A Private individual who had purchased his home 'off-plan'.
Background
The client approached us to design and install an integrated system that would enhance his home and offer a high level of luxury for his family. One of the main requirements was to provide sophisticated lighting and scene control througout the property.
The system was also to include an audio server and to integrate both an iPod dock and Sky+ with future upgrade to HD.
The Solution:
Opus 500 Multi-room AV was chosen as the multi-room solution due to its excellent feature/cost ratio and the clients personal preference.
Opus WCU600 touch-screens were installed in the key rooms with video to each one offering an graphical interface to control all of the input sources such as Sky, Radio and the Audio server.
Rako was chosen for the lighting which is provided to 61 circuits around the property including times lighting and pathway lighting in the Master bedroom, en-suite and dressing room to allow the client to move around in the early hours without disturbing anyone else in the property. Rako RAK4 central dimmers from provide RF lighting control from a central source. The lighting control is incorporated into the WCU600 touch screens as well as through separate Rako wall switches.
A full user pack will be provided for the new owners with upgrade path and useful information included.
