Project brief: To install and commission a Systemline Multi-room AV system and a dedicated Home cinema.

Client: A private individual.
Background: Our client had already had the cabling installed by another company but was keen for us to complete the installation. The property was recently re-developed to a very high standard with provision for Multi-room AV in most of the major rooms. There was also a dedicated room in the basement for a Home cinema solution.
The Solution: Systemline modular (Multi-source) including touch-screens in key rooms, a learning key-pad in the cinema and basic key-pads elsewhere was installed in all of the main rooms. The Systemline ALM3 speaker kits were chosen for the speakers and installed in pairs in each zone. A Sonance FS-22 iPod dock was installed in the Kitchen offering a local input to that room and a NAD DAB tuner was set as one of the input sources. Sonance CR201 speakers were specified for a 5.1 ceiling speaker solution in the cinema room and these were coupled with a Sonance Q-AV Sub-woofer and a Denon AVR-1910 AV receiver. The projector is an Epson TW-3800 and the projection screen is a motorised 3m screen with a 12v trigger which automatically lowers the screen when the projector is turned on.

The drive for the system comes in the form of a Denon AVR-1910 offering outstanding audio detail with intuitive control.
