Project brief: To install a Multi-room AV system to 8 rooms with a media server and other input devices. This project was extended by the client to include a data and telephony network, all supplied and installed by Ugot.
Location: Bracklesham Bay in West Sussex
Client: A private home owner carrying our a major re-development of sea front property.
Background
The client was re-developing a sea front property to the highest standards and wished to include a sympathetic installation through which they could enjoy their music and movie collection.
The client is a very technically aware indvidual who had researched his requirements and the possible solutions to a great depth, including the choice of provider/installer.
Key requirements were audio and video in all main rooms of the property. This brief was then extended to include a full data network and telephones over the same CAT5 solution.
The Solution:
Opus 500 Multi-room AV was chosen as the multi-room solution due to its excellent feature/cost ratio.
WCU500 key-pads were installed in the key rooms to the ground floor with video to each one. WCU300's were installed in all of the sub-zones.
An Escient media server provides the main input source to all Opus rooms.
