What is Multi-room Audio & Video?
A stereo in each room with access to your entire music collection. A TV service in every room (if you want it) with access to your DVD's, your Sky box and any other video source that you want. Simple intuitive control either through elegant wall pads or Touch screens...or through your remote control. Each room can listen to, or watch whatever you want. Each person in your household can choose so no one has to endure another persons 'music' or video choice.
How does it work?
With a Multi-Room Audio & Video system all your content is stored centrally in one location (the red box in the illustration above) and can be accessed using the wall mounted keypads and touch-pads or remotes (yellow/black squares above). The keypads, touch screens and remotes enable you to enjoy different music and video in different rooms at the same time, or maybe you're having a party and want the same music in the living room, kitchen and hall? Each room or zone has an amplifier so that each room or zone can have separate volume control.
What are my options?
We offer market leading solutions covering a range of prices. Opus 500, Systemline and Crestron offer touch-screens, beautiful sound and vision and the opportunity to control other systems such as lighting, curtains and blinds etc. They are quite complex so they need installing by us. If you are working to a budget, or perhaps you are a developer wanting multiple systems, then the Opus 300 solution will be a perfect solution for you. Offering both audio and video to multiple rooms, the Opus 300 system gives you some of the quality of the more expensive systems but with more basic control. However, the costs are much lower and you can also install it yourself if you want.
