About Ugot Ltd We set up Ugot when we realised that there were some great products that we and our family and friends had never heard of. These are people who are IT specialists, electricians and DIY enthusiasts: people with kids and people who regularly travel, as well as people who like the finer things in life.
Where are we based? Ugot is based in Chandlers Ford, near Southampton but we can (and do) cover pretty much anywhere in the UK. We are able to demonstrate many of our systems either in your home or, we're very proud to say that our customers are often happy to show what we did for them (by appointment).
Our aim is to bring clarity to you and ensure that you understand what you need and what you will get. We promise not to confuse you with technology. By working with us you will get one to one, straight-forward, honest advice ... without the jargon.
We hope you find our website both useful and enlightening. We try to explain everything in laymen's terms so that its as easy as possible to understand and therefore to use.

Delivery Web orders for items in stock and for delivery via a next-working-day courier should be despatched the same working day if the order is received by 13:00pm. On rare occasions delivery may be delayed due to unforseen circumstances. On these rare occasions we will call or email you to notify you of the delay. If an order is very urgent please ensure that you let us know by emailing sales@ugot.co.uk and we will speak to our carriers to inform them of the urgency.
Signature on Receipt The courier service requires a signature at the delivery address. If you are out when the courier calls, they will leave a calling card saying that they have been. They will then either deliver the next working day or allow you to collect the goods from their local depot. In many cases we can deliver items to a work address during office hours to allow a signature to be obtained for delivered items. If you would like to arrange this, please fill in your work address in the delivery address box when filling in the order form.
Saturday delivery We offer this service for an additional cost via a courier service for delivery between 8.30am and 12.30pm.
Split Orders / Multiple Deliveries When you ask us in the order form to ship goods as and when they become available, we will apply a standard shipping charge to each shipment we send out after the first package. This covers the costs involved for us in packing and shipping these additional packages.
Back Orders/Out of Stock Items In the event that an item is not in stock when you place your order (you can see stock availability when you view each product) we will back-order the item for you and despatch it when it arrives. The time we expect that item to arrive with us is shown on the individual product display pages. Should an item be delayed excessively, we will let you know via e-mail or phone and you have the option to cancel without charge.
Please Note - For large/heavy purchases additional delivery charges may be applied.
Payment We accept all major credit and debit cards excluding American Express and Diners Club.
Please note - we only accept payment by credit card if the card is registered in the UK.
No payment is taken from your card until the day before we despatch your goods and you can cancel your order at any time up to the day of despatch. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer, please contact our accounts team to request our bank details. Orders for special items (e.g. that we don't carry in stock) will be charged at point of order.
Export We can deliver to addresses in Europe, please call for details.
Cancellation You have the right to cancel at any time before despatch of your goods. If you are a consumer (not a business or Sole Trader), the Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to return the goods within 7 days. If you decide to return, you are responsible for the costs of carriage and of insuring the goods in transit. Upon receipt of the goods in pristine re-saleable condition, your payment will be refunded in full within 7 days.
